It can be helpful to discuss your options with a doctor first, but no referral is needed to book an appointment with us.


For patients outside South-East Queensland, we also offer video consultations.

Please be aware genetic counselling is not currently covered by Medicare or private health cover.

Genetic testing

Genetic counselling can sometimes involve genetic and genomic testing.


When testing is required, this can range from no out-of-pocket expense (bulk-billed) up to ~$800, depending on a range of factors.
